of PanCrib

The Meaning of PanCrib
PanCrib has 2 significant meanings as great thought was put into developing a name that would represent the brainchild of founder Rojenna Holligan.
The first meaning is, PanCrib is a Music academy teaching persons from a young age (Crib) to learn music through steelpan. This provides young children who have no previous musical background to learn about music and have an education in it.
The other meaning for PanCrib is that it’s a HOME, whereas a music family we can bond as we learn, eat, play and enjoy each other’s company.
This also provides a unique opportunity for the PanCrib crew to connect with other steelpan communities worldwide.

PanCrib Through the Years

This camp started in 2016 with the objective of teaching, empowering and tutoring young minds. The Pancrib Music academy provides students with a passion for music the opportunity to learn more about music through the steelpan. This camp is a holistic camp as campers go on tours to local places of interest, do crafts, network with other musicians across the Barbadian landscape, learn music theory and most importantly, get to show what they have learnt at the end of camp at the Pan Extravaganza.
PanCrib 2021
This year our camp will be held at The Golden Grove Great House and will be from Monday, August 2nd and will end Friday, August 27th with the Pan Extravaganza on the 28th of August.
